We welcome people to join our local party to have their say, influence policy and help shape a brighter future for our community and our country.
We hold regular speaker meetings on a range of topical issues, organise social events and campaign in the community: picking up issues of concern to local residents and working with our team of councillors on Redbridge Council and Labour MPs in Parliament to try and make a difference.
Members of the Labour Party can be as involved as they want to be. Some are simply happy to support the Labour Party financially, or through membership or by and turning up to occasional meetings of interest. Others get bitten by the campaigning bug and choose to stand for election to the local council.
If you share Labour’s values and want to make a difference to our local community, you’re very welcome to join the Labour Party or sign up to our local supporters’ network to be the first to hear about our local news and events.
Labour in government in four short periods of the 20th century, and for the first decade of the 21st century has made an enormous difference to our country from the creation of the National Health Service, to the introduction of the National Minimum Wage. If you want to play a part in helping Labour to secure social justice, security and prosperity for all, nationally and internationally, not just the privileged few, join us.
