Schools' question time

I was delighted that the girls of Ilford Ursuline High School have once again got through to the final of the BBC Schools' question time I was pleased to be asked once again to appear on the panel of the local event last month . It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Topics covered included the costs and value of the Olympics and the failure of Redbridge Council to invest in swimming facilities in Ilford; University admission policies and A* grades: whether school nurses should be able to give teenage girls the morning after pill: whether there should be a Third runway at Heathrow; and whether the media and specifically the BBC exaggerated gun and knife crime.
